The Pine Plains boys varsity soccer team edged Ellenville 4-3 in a home game Thursday, Sept. 17.
Tristan Patterson led the Bombers’ offense with three goals, with assists from Francisco Jimenez, Vicente Mercado and Soren McBride.
McBride scored Pine Plains’ other goal off an assist from Jimenez, giving Jimenez two assists in the game.
Goalkeeper Savannah Simic made 14 saves to help Pine Plains hold on for the one-goal victory.
Coach Blackburn also credited Zyah Rennie and Luca DiCarlo with strong defensive performances.
Pine Plains returns to action Wednesday, Sept. 23, with an away game against Rhinebeck.
