Foglia helped create the Bombers’ fourth goal after halftime, carrying the ball down the right side before sending a hard shot across the circle. Sophomore Aerianna Sommerville redirected the ball into the cage to give Pine Plains a 4-0 lead.

Taconic Hills created several breakaways and scoring chances in the fourth quarter, but the Bombers defense held. Junior Emma Alford helped anchor the Bombers’ defensive effort.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Kenny recorded the shutout, making 11 saves in 60 minutes.

The Bombers will travel to Our Lady of Lourdes High School for an away game at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 15.
