The Pine Plains Planning Board moved forward Wednesday, June 10, with HTWO’s proposal to expand its storage facilities and build a structure for the sale of farm products and produce at 2818 Church St.

The board voted unanimously to give the plan preliminary approval, with a final vote expected next month after Town Attorney Warren Replansky prepares a resolution.

During the public comment period, Pine Plains resident Brian Coons said the proposed structure would be “positive compared to what was there before.”

A scheduled appearance related to the development of a grocery store at 7723 South Main St. was withdrawn from the agenda.

KARC Planning Consultants also presented a proposed lot-line adjustment between two properties on Lake Road and BFS Lane. The adjustment would enlarge the smaller parcel so both lots conform to the town’s minimum area requirements for residential properties. No new construction is currently proposed.

The board also agreed to have a resolution prepared for that application, with a final vote expected next month.

Stissing Farms is expected to return next month to clarify details of its conversion from rental units to condominiums.

Because of a scheduling conflict, the board voted to move its next meeting to Tuesday, July 15, at 7:30 p.m.
