
Jeffrey Paul Satta of Milan died on July 20. He was 71.
Born on July 19, 1955, in Brooklyn, he was the son of Peter and Evelyn (Saukas) Satta. He married Jacqueline “Jackie” Mikulak on Sept. 27, 1980, at St. Cyril and Methodius Church in Brooklyn.
Satta worked for the United State Postal Service and as a meter reader.
Satta moved to Milan just over 10 years ago.
In addition to his wife, Satta is survived by a daughter, Samantha Satta; a grandson, Sean; his siblings, Timothy Satta and Kathleen (Brian) Rouch; and several nieces and nephews. Another son, Jeffrey Satta, died in 2017. Two of his brothers also died before him.
Visiting hours will be held on Aug. 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Burnett & White Funeral Homes, 7461 South Broadway, Red Hook.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Church, Red Hook. Committal services and burial will immediately follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook.
