Anna Maria Platé died on Oct. 5, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
Born on Nov. 5, 1937, in Pradovera, Piacenza, Italy, she was the daughter of Carlo and Teresa (Maschi) Boglioli. She married Carlo Platé on Jan. 18, 1955. They moved to New York City in 1966 and later to Pine Plains. He died in 1997.
Platé is survived by four children: Paul (Gladys Christina) Platé, Elsa (Frank) Patti, Bruno (Laura) Platé and Nando Platé; 10 grandchildren: Christina (Sal) Frasca, Gina (Michael) Luterzo, John (Kayleigh) Platé, Anthony Platé, Michael (Samantha) Platé, MaryAnna Platé, Carli Platé, Anthony (Camille) Pepe, Thomas (Cheryl) Pepe and Joseph (Jenn) Hunt; and six great-grandchildren, Antonio Carlo Pepe, Isabella Violet Pepe, Victor Paolo Pepe, Salvatore Carlo Frasca, Max Hunt and Elena Hunt. She is also survived by two brothers, Aldo (Ines) Boglioli and Valentino (Gianna) Boglioli and many nieces and nephews. A brother, Giovanni Boglioli, died before her.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 7749 South Main St., Pine Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Oct. 14 at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Pine Plains. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations in Platé’s name may be made to either the Dutchess County SPCA or to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church.
