James J. “JJ” Stagias of Elizaville died on July 26 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 39.
Born on April 15, 1987, in Kingston, Stagias was the son of James R. Stagias and Pamela Tetro Stagias. He married Jennifer Wyant on Sept. 16, 2017. He founded and ran his own construction business, J. Stagias Construction.
He is survived by his parents and wife; two children, Lilliana and Brodie; two stepchildren, Rielee and Shane; and many extended family members.
Burial will be private.
