Pine Plains rolled to a 12-0 shutout of Taconic Hills on Tuesday, April 7, behind a dominant performance from starting pitcher Talia Durant at Stissing Mountain High School. Durant struck out 11 and allowed no hits or runs across six innings, while issuing one walk.
The Bombers broke through in the bottom of the third, when Eliza Baden singled and a Taconic Hills error helped bring home two runs. Pine Plains pulled away in the sixth, scoring five times on three hits. Addy Farinaccio delivered a single that drove in two runs, another Titans error plated one more, and Durant added a two-run single to cap the rally.
