Tammy S. Murphy, of Ancram, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie on Jan. 18. She was 59.
Born on March 20, 1965, in Great Barrington, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Martin Stickle and Dorothy (Millius) Farrell.
She married Christoher Murphy on Sept. 17, 2017. She is survived by him, as well as by three children: Devon (Lizzie) Rueger; Candice Rueger; and Elizabeth “EB” Murphy; two grandchildren, Noah Proper and Devon Rueger; her mother; a brother, James Farrell; and an uncle, William Millius.
A celebration of Murphy’s life will be held on Feb. 8 at the Ancram Fire Department from noon to 3 p.m. The family said flowers can be sent to the firehouse and donations in Murphy’s memory may be made to the Ancram Fire Company, P.O. Box 8, Ancram, NY 12502.
