Robert Dale Rothvoss Jr., 62, of Ancramdale, died unexpectedly on Feb. 16.
He was born Dec. 7, 1961, in Rhinebeck, to the late Robert D. Rothvoss Sr. and Linda (Waldorf) Rothvoss.
Rothvoss is survived by his three children, Robert Rothvoss III, Karly Maye Rothvoss (Eric) and Brody Thomas Rothvoss; six grandchildren; a brother, Ricky Rothvoss (Melissa); two sisters, Kelly Zempko (Gary) and Mindy Rothvoss (Kevin); as well as several cousins.
Rothvoss was a lifelong farmer who operated Rothdale Farm in Ancramdale.
He enjoyed going for walks with his family around the farm and admired the cows and the lands that nourished them. He was also an avid sportsman that enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, feeding the birds, and tending his flower gardens. Rothvoss was an Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Orioles fan.
