The Pine Plains varsity girls basketball team opened its season with a 41–27 win over Millbrook/Webutuck on Friday, Dec. 12.
Michelle Blackburn led the pack with 20 points, followed by Giana Dormi with 11. Emma Brenner added six points, while Izzy Montoya and Miley Augustin each finished with two.
The Bombers also turned in a strong defensive performance, highlighted by Tiara Rennie. Pine Plains returns to action Tuesday, Dec. 16, with a 5 p.m. away game at Red Hook.
