Coon and Miller in a short time will build an ice house west of the Stissing House, and back some distance from the street, removing the unsightly and dilapidated ice house near the northwest corner of the hotel. Coon and Miller also propose to open a street in the near future, through their land commencing at the north side of the lot just purchased by the Register Herald opposite the Engelke building, and running west about 800 ft , then north to a point west of the tin shop. This would open up a number of desirable building lots and give the village a chance to grow.
