Quite a sensation was created in Stissing by the appearance of two women in black. They were seen near Mr. Ambler’s barn and went toward the blacksmith shop. When they discovered they were followed they ran down the railroad track and cried murder. Their hair was hanging down their backs and they carried what looked to be long knives in their hands. The creamery was broken into recently and the blacksmith said his shop was visited some nights ago. Perhaps this was the work of the women in black.
