Dog law: The new law requires the registration of dogs in the offices of town, village and city clerks, provides for a fee of 15 cents for such registration. Constables and other officers who are under the law are required to kill dogs not wearing a collar bearing a memorandum of registration, are to be paid 50 cents for every dog killed. Under this law an officer who goes gunning for dogs would probably be able to make his expedition more profitable than hunting trips usually are.
