During the recent thunder shower lightning struck a house on the Feller place in Jackson Corners. Entering a chimney the electric fluid passed through the house and stunned the whole family. Mrs. Fitzsimmons, who was in the room where the chimney was located, was killed. The family entered her room to ascertain if the lightning had done any damage and found her just alive. She died a few minutes afterwards. Coroner Wilbur was notified and took charge of the case, but did not deem an inquest necessary. The house was not much hurt.
