Prof. George E. Browell, principal of the high school in Pine Plains, was seriously hurt by a fall from his bicycle, caused by a very bad ridge in the road in Lafayetteville. He struck on his head and shoulder sustaining a fracture of the shoulder blade, contusion of the head and some internal injuries. He has since been confined to his bed, suffering great pain. The injury comes at a particularly bad time, during school examinations and preparations for graduating exercises, when there is so much depending on him.
