This usually quiet village (Stanfordville) has been in quite a state of excitement caused by the mysterious disappearance of two boys, Clarence W. and Elmer A. Clarence returned some days ago, refusing to tell anyone where he left Elmer. A New York Herald reporter located Elmer working on a farm in the Sharon Mountains. Young Elmer’s mother was nearly prostrated by the shock of losing her son.
