John W. Glembock died on April 13 at his home in Pine Plains. He was 90.
Glembock was born on June 14, 1933, in the Bronx, to John and Frances Cyrus Glembock.
Glembock served for four years in the U.S. Navy and joined Burnell & Co., which made electronic filters, in 1956. He attended Westchester Community College while working there as a technician and union vice president. He joined IBM in 1964, and retired in 1991. From 1991 to 1996, he owned and operated Classic Limousine Service in Pine Plains.
He is survived by his wife, Penny A. Glembock, of Pine Plains; a daughter, Lara M. Glembock; and a sister, Anne Morlot.
