Gladys E. “Gaye” Angier died on July 24 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. She was 82.
Angier was born on May 20, 1943, in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of Ed Nelson and Carol Elmendorf. She married George Angier on April 14, 2000.
Angier is survived by her husband; a daughter, Carol (Bruce) Hay, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Three of her children died before her, as did three of her sisters.
Visiting hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 2; a memorial service will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Burnett & White Funeral Homes – Red Hook, 7461 S. Broadway, Red Hook.
