
After last Friday’s edition was delivered, we heard back that we had left the Friends of Stissing Landmarks, Inc. (FOSL) off our list of local non-profits needing donations in this season of giving.**
FOSL began about 35 years ago with the intention of saving the fire tower atop Stissing Mountain. They succeeded. In 2022, FOSL’s volunteers have undertaken a breathtaking range of projects that will improve life around Pine Plains. From trail improvements and trail building to the preservation of buildings at Patchin’s Mill, FOSL is making a difference in our community.
