Frank Charles Brower Jr., of Pine Plains and formerly of Ancramdale, died on July 10. He was 76.
Brower was born on Aug. 12, 1948, at Sharon Hospital, to Frank C. and Margaret (Shaw) Brower, of Ancramdale. He graduated from Pine Plains Central School in 1966 and continued his education at Dutchess Community College, and then at the State University of New York at Oswego. He subsequently earned a master’s degree in experiential education from the University of Minnesota, Mankato. He taught woodworking and industrial arts for many years in New England schools.
Brower is survived by his children, Seth Brower of Ingelwood, Calif., and Rachel Rose of Shelbourne, Mass.; two grandsons; his sister, Sheila (James) Jamieson of Ancramdale; a nephew and two nieces. A brother, John E. Brower, died before him.
He will be privately inurned in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains.
