Eduarda “Peggy” Laura Flinn died at home on Nov. 25. She was 92. 

Flinn was born on May 2, 1931, to Violet and Ward Withers at Vassar Hospital. In 1948, she graduated from Pine Plains Central School. 

She married Darwin Flinn in 1950, who survives her. 

Flinn worked at the Cold Spring Elementary School as the head of the cafeteria, and then for many years as the head teller for Stissing Bank in Stanfordville. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, country music and dancing. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Darwin Flinn Jr. of South Carolina and Mark Flinn of Stanfordville; four grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, Mark Jr., and Tyler; five great grandchildren, Robert, Avalyn, Grant, Nash and Bence; and her sister, Shirley Jenks.  

Interment will take place at a future date in Stanford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations in Flinn’s name be made to the Stanford Free Library, 6035 Route 82, Stanfordville.
