
Edna F. Schultz, a longtime resident of Gallatin, died on August 6. She was 85.
Schultz graduated Pine Plains High School and then Columbia Greene Community College with an associate degree in data processing. She worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie until her retirement. She is remembered for enjoying cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
Schultz is survived by three daughters, Julia (Mark) Reed, Carlene (Jay) Russell, and Lisa (Michael) Scrodin; six grandchildren, Emily, Zach, Eric, Michael, Patrick and Megan; and three great-grandchildren, Peter, Blair and Fiona. She is also survived by a sister, Betty Golden.
Schultz was predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Schultz, and another sister, Doris Balfe.
A time for sharing memories and offering condolences will be held on Aug. 12 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Peck and Peck Funeral Homes, 7749 South Main Street, Pine Plains. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
