Dylan Thomas Anderson of Ancram died on March 4 at Albany Medical Center. He was 19.
He was born in Albany on Aug. 29, 2005, the only son of Arnold T. Anderson, Jr., and Sarah Anderson of Ancram. Anderson was a lifelong resident of Ancram and graduated from Taconic Hills High School in 2023.
In addition to his parents, Anderson is survived by four sisters: Amya Anderson (Terrence Halsey, Jr.), Ashlyn Anderson, Isabella Anderson and Gabrielle Anderson; his grandmothers, Doreen Grand Baretsky and Helen Anderson; and three uncles: Charles (Donna) Zuna, Keith Wheeler and Zachary Bray.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 12 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Ancram Fire Company, 1306 County Route 7, Ancram.
The family requested that in lieu of flowers contributions in Anderson’s memory be made to the Ancram Fire Company, P.O. Box 8, Ancram NY 12502.
