She was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to Robert K. Peck, Jr. and Esther Olsen Peck. She graduated from Pine Plains Central School in 1942 and the Vassar Brothers Hospital School of Nursing in 1945.
On December 10, 1950, she married Dr. Donald E. Webster in New Lebanon, N.Y. Donald predeceased her in 2014.
She is survived by her four children: Dawn Bartolomeo (William), Debra Webster, Deidre Gabrielsen (Robert), and David Webster (Ursula); seven grandchildren – Andrea, Daniel, William, Lindsey, Andrew, Alex, and Peter; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Robert K. Peck III, and her sister, Vivian Bryant Miller.
Dora was cherished by her family, known for her selflessness, and was a role model for her children and grandchildren. She was always ready to help friends and family members in times of illness or need.
There are no calling hours. She donated her body to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Saratoga National Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank her caregivers, especially Mylene, whose care allowed her to remain at home. They also thank the Hudson Valley Hospice team for their compassionate care and professional support for Dora.
