Mr. Thomas Maslin of New York, better known as “Tommy the temperance worker”, addressed a good sized audience at the Baptist church in this village (Pine Plains), last Sunday afternoon and a larger audience in the evening, the other churches being closed on account of this meeting. He narrated his experience as a drunkard and gambler.
