Anna “Annie” Wheeler died on May 9. Born on Oct. 12, 1949, she was the daughter of Virgil Shook and Olive (Dietter) Shook.
Wheeler worked in the cafeteria of the Pine Plains Central School District for 34 years, as well as at the Pine Plains Deli and the Moose on the Loose deli.
In addition to her husband, Charles Wheeler, she is survived by her son, Keith (Donna) Wheeler of Hillsdale; her daughter, Lorraine (Larry) Hait of Pine Plains; three granddaughters, Corey Hoffman, Samantha Wheeler and Paige Wheeler; two sisters Susie (Ed) Artuz and Gail (David) Dinsmore; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 24 at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 7749 S. Main St.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Hudson Valley Hospice, 153 Sawkill Road, Kingston N.Y. 12401, or to the American Cancer Society.
