Alberta Funk of Stanfordville died on Feb. 5 at Sharon Hospital. She was 84.
Funk was born in Walton, N.Y. and ran a wood-cutting business in Stanfordville for many years with her late husband, Floyd Funk.
She is survived by three daughters, Sarah Wheeler, Brenda Funk and Laura Funk; a son, Gerry Funk, a brother, Paul Baker and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled at the Evangelical Free Lutheran Church, Clinton Corners, on Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Willow Roots in Pine Plains or to the Free Evangelical Lutheran Church. A post on the Pine Plains Community Facebook page is seeking contributions in her memory.
