• Derek Piotr: Preserving the Oral Tradition of Folk Music

    Established in 2022, Derek Piotr Fieldwork Archive contains over 1,500 audio recordings collected in the U.S. and around the globe. Piotr will be on hand to present his efforts to preserve and document the orat traditions of folksongs, sung by everyday people. This free event will be held in the NorthEast-Millerton Library Annex.
