The Erie Canal at 200

David Brooks, from Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site, will join us at the Stanford Free Library as the Erie Canal celebrates its bicentennial. You will hear the story of the canal and how it has been heralded in pop culture, folklore, and the history books and discover how it was recognized at 100. You’ll also learn what celebrations the corridor has planned for its 200th! Please register for this event here.
