Gallatin Fire District Election

The annual election of the Gallatin Fire District will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 9, between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. at Gallatin Town Hall.  This will be for the purpose of electing one commissioner for a 5-year term, commencing January 1, 2026. All duly registered residents of the Gallatin Fire District are eligible to vote. Note: By the provisions of Town Law, Section 176(7), the Board of Fire Commissioners has provided by resolution that the candidates for the Fire District Office must file their names and term with the Secretary of the Gallatin Fire District, no later than Nov. 19.
