Dennis John Parsons of Ancram died on Feb. 7. He was 73.
Parsons was born on Dec. 7, 1952, in Sharon, Conn., the son of William Parsons Sr. and
Elizabeth A. Swartz.
He served as a helicopter mechanic during the Vietnam War, and worked at the Kimblery-Clark
paper mill in Ancram.
Parsons is survived by a son, Kyle L. (Melissa) Burdick; three grandchildren: Jerimiah Burdick,
Dylan Burdick and Dominique Burdck; two brothers, William (Rosie) Parsons and David Parsons;
two sisters, Pamela (Michael) Miles and Kathleen (Don Bird) Sigler; and several nieces and
nephews. Two sisters, Donna DeWitt and Lori Jean Parson died before him.
