Peter Robinson experienced an event with his plane. About 4:30 it was noticed he was circling midtown very low. It was finally noted by several watching the plane that he wanted to call to their attention that he was in a bit of trouble. When he had taken off one of the skis on the plane had broken loose and was hanging from the plane. Just in case he was unable to land safely at their field on Adams Farm, two of the viewers took the ambulance and the fire engine there. Mr. Robinson managed a slow and safe landing. His 12 year old daughter Susan had accompanied him and will thrill her classmates with the experience.
