Pine Plains resident Frank French marched 3 men down Rt. 22 using a shotgun to keep the men in line until the police took over. French captured the men after receiving a call that some men had broken into a house that he and his wife rent to people from NYC. The police thanked Frank for rounding up the men but advised him not to take matters into his own hands in the future. Frank, who will be 69 on Nov. 17, likely won’t. The shotgun was never loaded.
