Pine Plains: The democrats have not made any nominations for town officers in Pine Plains, as they have no candidates for county judge or member of assembly in this district. The republicans have a walk over. This is very nice for the candidates and workers, but it is not so pleasant for the “patriots”, who are accustomed to getting a dollar or two for their votes.
