Walter Risedorf brought the mail from the station to the post office, drove his passengers to their homes, put out his horses and was walking up Pine St. to deliver a letter, when he fell in front of the Methodist parsonage. Reverend A.E. Barnett ran to him and raised him up, calling for assistance which speedily arrived, but death followed quickly. Coroner Wilbur deemed it natural causes. Heart disease was the probable ailment. Few men had as many friends as Mr. Risedorf. He was always genial, lively, generous, warm hearted and lost no opportunity to do acts of kindness to others. He was 32 years of age.
