The town planning board reaffirmed its previous decision to allow Carson Power to proceed with its Pulver’s Corners solar farm project without a full environmental impact statement at a special meeting on Aug. 23.
The board passed a formal resolution, drafted by the town’s attorney, to give legal effect to the decision it made on Aug. 9.
The board’s next, and possibly final, step will be to consider Carson Power’s site plan and request for a special use permit, as required by Pine Plains’ zoning law. That meeting, which will be open to the public, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Sept. 13 at Town Hall.
