Dale William Fletcher of Hudson and formerly of Pine Plains died July 10 in Hudson. He was 67.
Fletcher was born to William and Elaine (Kretzschmar) Fletcher on March 16, 1956 in Sharon, Connecticut. He graduated from Stissing Mountain High School in 1974 and from SUNY Cobleskill in 1976. He worked for many years as a milk truck driver for A. Pulver Trucking in Pine Plains and for the Town of Pine Plains highway department. He was known for his excellent diesel mechanical skills and his love for tractors, especially those made by Allis-Chalmers.
He is survived by his son, David (Amber) Fletcher, of Pine Plains; his daughter, Shannon Fletcher (Frank Fierro) of Corinth, New York; and three grandchildren, Dominic Fletcher, Leah Fletcher and Charlotte Fierro. He is also survived by his mother Elaine of Schoharie County, New York; and by his brothers, Brad Fletcher of Eldora, Iowa; Mark Fletcher of Cobleskill; and Drew Fletcher of Omaha, Nebraska.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
