Winemaking in Ancram: A Talk with Rene and Brett Volker of Field Supply Wine

Join Ancram Resilient Gardens & Farms for a talk with Field Supply Wine, whose owners take the view that winemaking can and should be a living and evolving experiment rooted in the soil. The talk will be held at Fulton & Forbes, 1415 County Route 7 opposite Ancram Town Hall. Field Supply owners Rene and Brett Volker will describe how they are cultivating long-term, hands-on relationships with growers in the Finger Lakes region of the state, enabling them to produce wines grown sustainably and with minimal intervention. At the conclusion of the talk we will enjoy a sampling of Field Supply wines.
