George O. White of Milan died on March 28. He was 70.

Born on Jan. 3, 1956, in Sharon, Conn., he was the son of George White and Alice Wendover (VanEchaute) White. He grew up in Milan and attended the Pine Plains Central School District.

White worked for many years at STAMP, Inc., in Rhinebeck and then part-time for FabTech in
Kingston.

He is survived by a brother Peter (Brenda) White; two sisters, Mary Ellen White and Wendy (Brian) Stoner; his stepfather, Julius VanEchaute; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and two grand nieces.

A celebration of his life will be held on April 3 at 1 p.m. at the Milan Town Hall.
