Daniel J. Scribner died at his home in Stanfordville on Jan. 13. He was 46.
Born in Rhinebeck to Clifford and Mary (Elsbree) Scribner, he attended Stissing Mountain High School and worked as a carpenter.
Scribner is survived by three daughters, Jalinna Kipp, Hannah Barrett and Kevia Tyler-Scribner; a grandson, Asher Sands; as well as by his parents. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Marie and Mike Knapp, and two cousins, Laura Blanchard and Michael Knapp Jr.
Visitation will be on Jan. 19, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 7749 S. Main St., Pine Plains, followed by a prayer service.
